Highfield was originally a set of cottages that had been converted into one property. We were commissioned to demolish the existing building and construct a substantial new family home on the original footprint.
The new property is a modern take on a traditional country house; natural stone was used for the walls with Ashlar window dressings and quoins. Reconstituted stone tiles were used for the roof and bespoke windows and doors were manufactured and supplied by our own workshop.
The large glazed lantern, which provides a light and open feeling into the main entrance hallway, is a particularly stunning feature of the property.
